🐾 What Are Pets in Coin Master?

Pets are powerful companions in Coin Master that give you special bonuses during key gameplay moments. Whether you're raiding other players' villages, attacking for coins, or trying to protect your own village from destruction, the right pet can make a massive difference to how fast you progress through the game.

There are three pets in Coin Master: Foxy (raid booster), Tiger (attack booster), and Rhino (village defender). Each one is unlocked at a different stage of the game and has its own unique skill that becomes more powerful as you level it up.

Pets must be fed with Pet Treats to stay active. When active, their bonus applies for 4 hours. Without food, pets remain inactive and their powers won't work — so always feed your pet before a big play session!

💡 Key Rule: Only one pet can be active at a time (unless you have the Pet Crew feature at Village 200+). Always choose the pet that matches what you're about to do — Foxy for raids, Tiger for attacks, Rhino for building.

Foxy

⛏️ Raid Booster

Foxy is your best friend for earning coins. During a raid, you normally get to dig 3 out of 4 spots in an opponent's village. With Foxy active, she digs the 4th spot for free, giving you an extra pile of coins every single raid. The higher Foxy's level, the more bonus coins she earns from each dig.

Tiger

⚔️ Attack Booster

Tiger is the coin-earning powerhouse for attackers. Every time you attack another player's village with Tiger active, you earn a significant coin bonus on top of your regular attack reward. Since the game gives you more attacks than raids, Tiger is often considered the fastest pet for stacking coins — especially at high levels where the bonus can exceed 400%.

Rhino

🛡️ Village Defender

Rhino is your village's last line of defense. When another player attacks your village and you have no shields, Rhino has a chance to block the attack entirely — saving your buildings from being destroyed. The higher his level, the more often he successfully blocks. A max-level Rhino blocks up to 70% of all attacks, making him invaluable when you're mid-build.

🔓 How to Unlock Each Pet
🦊

Unlock Foxy

Foxy is the easiest pet to unlock — simply reach Village Level 4 and she becomes available automatically. An in-game animation will walk you through hatching her for the first time. No cards required.

🐯

Unlock Tiger

Tiger requires you to complete the Beasts Card Collection. This is a set of 9 cards. Once all cards in the set are collected, Tiger's egg appears in your pets menu, ready to hatch. Focus on opening chests and trading cards to complete it faster.

🦏

Unlock Rhino

Rhino unlocks when you complete the Creatures Card Collection — another 9-card set. Stay in Boom Villages when opening chests, as rare card drop rates are higher there, which helps you complete the set faster.

🥚

Hatching a Pet

Once unlocked, go to the Pets menu in the game and tap the egg. The hatching animation plays and your new pet is ready. After hatching, feed it with a Pet Treat to activate it for the first time.

🍖 Feeding & Activation

How Pet Feeding Works

Pets must be fed with Pet Treats to stay active. Each treat activates your chosen pet for 4 hours of consecutive time. During these 4 hours, every raid, attack, or defense that occurs will benefit from that pet's bonus.

You can stack multiple treats to extend the active period — so if you feed 3 treats at once, your pet stays active for 12 hours total. This is great to do before a long play session or before going to sleep (so Rhino protects your village while you're offline).

Free 15-Minute Daily Activation

Once per day, you can activate any pet for 15 minutes for free — no treat required. You'll see a green pet food icon on the main slot screen when this is available. Always use this free activation, and make sure you're ready to spin before you tap it!

How to Get Pet Treats

Pet Treats can be earned through: opening Chests, completing Card Sets, clearing Viking Quest stages, participating in events and seasonal rewards, and the Golden Pass. They are also sometimes given as daily rewards.

Pro Tip: Don't waste your Pet Treats on short play sessions. Save them for when you have at least 100+ spins ready and are about to go on a big raiding or attacking run. You want to maximize the 4-hour window.

⬆️ Leveling Up Your Pets

XP Potions

Pets level up by consuming XP Potions. These are different from Pet Treats — XP Potions permanently increase your pet's level and power, while Treats only activate them temporarily. You can get XP Potions from Chests, event rewards, the Golden Pass, and milestone completions.

Which Pet Should You Level First?

Since you get more attacks than raids from the slot machine, many experienced players recommend leveling Tiger first once it's unlocked — the 417% max bonus on every attack is extraordinary for coin stacking.

However, Foxy unlocks first and is excellent in the early game. Level Foxy until Tiger is available, then shift your XP Potions to Tiger. Level Rhino whenever you're building a village and need protection.

Leveling Priority Guide

Early Game (Villages 4–60): Level Foxy — she's your only option and great for raid coins.

Mid Game (Villages 60–200): Switch focus to Tiger once you unlock it. Level Rhino to at least Level 49 (60% block rate) for village protection.

Late Game (Village 200+): Level all three pets with the Pet Crew feature active. Prioritize Tiger max level for the 417% attack bonus.

👥 Pet Crew Feature

What Is Pet Crew?

The Pet Crew is a game-changing feature unlocked at Village Level 200+. Before this level, you can only have one pet active at a time. With Pet Crew, you can keep all three pets active simultaneously — meaning you get Foxy's raid bonus, Tiger's attack bonus, AND Rhino's defense bonus all at once.

Why Pet Crew Changes Everything

At Village 200+, every action — raid, attack, or enemy attack on your village — benefits from all three pets at the same time. This dramatically accelerates your coin earnings and village defense. If you're approaching Village 200, start saving up Pet Treats so you can keep all three pets fed and active as soon as Pet Crew unlocks.

🐾 Pet Crew Tip: Always make sure all three pets are fed before starting a big spin session once you unlock Pet Crew. Running out of treats mid-session means losing the stacked bonus — so stock up on treats in advance!

👗 Pet Outfits

When Do Outfits Unlock?

The Pet Outfit system unlocks at Village Level 210. Once unlocked, a "Closet" button appears in the Pets menu where you can equip outfits to buff your pets' performance further.

Outfit Sets

There are four outfit sets: Charmed, Space, Viking, and Ninja. Each set contains 6 outfit pieces: Shoes, Shirt, Ring, Collar, Mask, and Hat. Outfits come in five rarity tiers — Uncommon, Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary — with higher rarities giving bigger bonuses.

How Outfits Work

Equipping Foxy with outfit pieces boosts her raid percentage further. Tiger outfits boost attack percentage, and Rhino outfits boost his block percentage. Completing a full outfit set gives a bonus beyond individual pieces.

How to Get Outfits

Outfit pieces are obtained from: limited-time events, Chest rewards, seasonal milestone completions, and special promotional offers. Legendary outfits are the rarest and most powerful.

💡 Pro Tips for Pet Mastery
Tip 1

Match Your Pet to Your Action

Always switch to the right pet before playing. About to raid? Activate Foxy. Planning an attack session? Switch to Tiger. Building a village with low shields? Put Rhino on guard. It sounds simple but many players forget to switch.

Tip 2

Use Tiger During Attack Madness

The Attack Madness event gives you more attacks and higher attack rewards. Combine it with an active Tiger pet and you can earn extraordinary amounts of coins in a single session. This is the most powerful coin-earning combo in the game.

Tip 3

Activate Rhino Before Going Offline

Before you close the game for the night, always feed Rhino. If other players attack while you're sleeping, Rhino will block up to 70% of those attacks, protecting the buildings you've already paid for. It's free insurance.

Tip 4

Don't Level Foxy Past 100 Early

Foxy's bonus hits 100% at Level 100 — meaning she already doubles your raid coins. Past Level 100, the gains slow down (only +19% more across 300 more levels). If you haven't maxed Tiger yet, redirect your XP Potions there for faster progression.

Tip 5

Stack Foxy with High Bet Raids

Foxy's bonus is a percentage of whatever you raid. If you raid with a high spin multiplier (5x or 10x), the base raid amount is already bigger — meaning Foxy's 100%+ bonus gives you even more coins. Save your spins for Foxy-active sessions.

Tip 6

Prioritize Card Sets for Tiger & Rhino

If Tiger is still locked, make completing the Beasts Card Set a priority. Stay in Boom Villages and open chests there for better rare card drops. Tiger's 417% attack bonus is well worth the effort of collecting 9 cards.

FAQ – Pets in Coin Master
Can I have more than one pet active at a time?
Only if you have reached Village Level 200+ and have the Pet Crew feature unlocked. Before that, only one pet can be active at a time. Choose the one that matches your current gameplay — Foxy for raids, Tiger for attacks, Rhino for defense.
What happens if my pet runs out of food mid-session?
If your Pet Treat timer runs out, the pet immediately becomes inactive and its bonus stops applying. You'll need to feed another treat to reactivate it. Always check your pet's remaining time before starting a big spin session.
What is the best pet in Coin Master?
It depends on your playstyle. Tiger is widely considered the best for earning coins fast, since attacks are more frequent than raids and the bonus tops out at 417%. Foxy is the best raid pet and great in the early game. Rhino is essential when building villages. All three are important — don't neglect any of them.
Does Rhino block attacks when I'm offline?
Yes! As long as Rhino is active (fed with a treat), he will attempt to block attacks even while you're not playing. This makes feeding Rhino before going offline one of the most valuable things you can do to protect your village progress.
Can I pause my pet's active timer by switching pets?
No. Once a pet is activated, the 4-hour timer runs continuously and cannot be paused by switching to another pet. The timer counts down regardless of whether you're playing or not, so always make sure you're ready to use your pet's bonus when you feed it.
How do I get more Pet XP Potions?
XP Potions can be earned from: opening Chests (especially at higher village levels), completing card sets, Viking Quest stage rewards, event milestone prizes, and the Golden Pass. The Golden Pass is one of the most consistent sources of XP Potions for players who want to level pets quickly.
Does Rhino work on top of shields?
Yes. Rhino works as a second layer of defense that kicks in when you're out of shields. If you have shields AND Rhino active, your shields absorb attacks first. When shields run out, Rhino then has his percentage chance to block remaining attacks. Having both provides the strongest possible protection.
